Tips for using
Basil Essential Oil:
  • Aromatically If you are feeling overwhelmed this is a fantastic oil to use to create a sense of relief. It also a great oil to diffuse if you are feeling mentally fatigued. If you have are losing your sense of smell inhaling Basil Essential Oil can help to regain or increase your sense of smell, inhale or apply under the nose.
  • Topically If you are experiencing muscle spasms or inflammation you can apply to the spine, bottoms of the feet or take in a capsule to support your body. Basil is a great oil to use for cooling. You can also use Basil Essential Oil if you are experiencing cramps, nausea or PMS, just apply to your lower abdomen. If you are suffering from adrenal fatigue you can use this oil to support your recovery by applying to the adrenal area, or back of the neck + bottom of the feet. Basil is also an oil you can use when you have an earache, apply behind ear or swab your ear to relieve pain and infection. Apply to bug bites or spray diluted (in water) to repel insects.
  • Internally It's great your cooking! You can add a drop or 2 to any dishes that call for basil.
