Hands up if you remember the Spice Girls? Feet up if Ginger Spice was one of your favourites? (My hands and feet are up!)

When I think back to the time of the Spice Girls one word comes to mind (well several do, like platform shoes, zigazig ah etc) but the one word that relates to today’s Essential Oil is...

Tips for using Ginger Essential Oil:
  • Aromatically Inhale Ginger Essential Oil to support you with motion sickness or vertigo. You can also inhale this essential oil to help with memory and brain support. By diffusing this oil you can create an energising and revitalising atmosphere.
  • Topically Apply over the bridge of your nose if you are experiencing congestion. You could apply diluted or take in a glass of warm water if you are constipated.
  • Internally You can take in a capsule or gargle to relieve cold and flu symptoms or a sore throat. Adding a drop of Ginger Essential Oil to your morning drink will support healthy joints and have an antioxidant benefit. This essential oil can also support you with nausea, morning sickness or a loss of appetite as well as soothe heartburn or reflux. It is recommended to dilute this oil for use.

Ginger Essential Oil is also a great one to add to your cooking!

The Oil of Empowerment

Ginger is a powerhouse of an essential oil! This oil is going to get you to step up and be fully present in your life. If you are feeling as if life is out of control and you feel that you are constantly on the receiving end of other’s influences then this oil can empower you.

Begin to take a greater sense of personal responsibility and see yourself as the creator of your own life with Ginger Essential Oil. Feel capable, purposeful and committed to what is true and important for you. You can diffuse this oil to support you on an emotional level or dilute and massage onto your upper stomach (solar plexus) to infuse a ‘warrior-like mentality’.
