DAY 19: Lemongrass Essential Oil

 

Can you remember the first time you smelt Lemongrass? It has such a distinct smell doesn’t it?

We had lemongrass in our garden growing up and often I would wander outside, break off a sprig and take a smell. I was reflecting on how we naturally do things like that, gravitate towards a certain plant or food, as if something deep inside is guiding us there.

This is one thing I am realising more and more with Essential Oils. Our bodies seem to have some intelligence as to what oils might be able to support us. And so if you are reading this blog today on Lemongrass, there might be something in it for you.

This sentence resonated with me: “Our bodies seem to have some intelligence as to what oils might be able to support us.” I think Lilacs are a smell that brings me back to a time and place very easily. Apples too.
