DAY 31: Myrrh Essential Oil

May 31, 2018

All of the oils I have shared this month have one thing in common, they are 'vehicles'. Vehicles that can transport you within and support you on your healing journey, whether it be on a physical, emotional, mental or spiritual level. Learning about these oils each day has reminded me of two things: the incredible gifts that this earth offers us, and how incredible each of us are. How beautiful it is to be able to bring these natural gifts into our lives through dōTERRA, an essential oils company that is not only taking care of us, but taking care of the planet. Curious how? Check out some of my earlier blogs to watch the dōTERRA co-impact sourcing videos.

Today I share with you a very special oil, not just because it can reduce the appearance of wrinkles or because a certain baby was gifted it when he was born. But because of the deeper meaning of this oil, which I share below. This oil can reconnect us with ‘home’, our first home being our mother, and our home here on Earth, I think that is pretty incredible.

The oil of mother earth

Myrrh Essential Oil is a beautiful oil to finish the ‘blog a day for the month of May’ series on as it is known as the oil of mother earth. dōTERRA can be translated to ‘gifts of the earth’ and so taking a moment to appreciate where these oils come from, our earth, is important.

As I have been sharing on each blog there is an emotional meaning associated with each oil. Myrrh Essential Oil is a powerful oil that can support you to feel safe in the world, experience healthy attachments and feel a greater sense of trust, maternal connection, love and security.

The world truly is a beautiful place, though life can sometimes cause us to feel disconnected from our earthly home. Myrrh Essential oil nurtures our relationship with our maternal mother and with the earth by supporting you to feel a greater sense of safety and security within your relationship with your maternal mother and within the world.
