Sourcing Ylang Ylang

dōTERRA source their Ylang Ylang from a co-impact model with farmers in Madagascar. You can learn about the co-impacting sourcing and the farmers who harvest this beautiful flower during this short video.

Why Madagascar you might ask?

“Purity and potency are vital elements in a quality essential oil and heavily factored into the effectivity of the each oil. Because the potency of a plant starts with the plant itself, it is crucial for plants to be grown and harvested in an optimal environment. For this reason, dōTERRA grows the essential oil plants in their ideal location and, like in the case of Ylang Ylang, the optimal location is Madagascar. dōTERRA employs a global network of farmers who intimately know the process of growing plants for essential oils (you can learn about the Ylang Ylang farmers in the video above). These farmers make sure that the plants are taken care of properly and harvested in the correct stages. This quality caring and harvesting of the plants produces highest-level potency.”

Ylang Ylang is known as the ‘oil of the inner child’

I believe that the time has come for there to be an individual and a collective ‘return to heart’. Modern day society seems to revere the mind and doesn’t always appreciate the wisdom of the heart and the important information it holds for us. Ylang Ylang can assist us in reconnecting to our heart and the innocent nature of our inner child.

Through Ylang Ylang you can begin to deepen your experience of your intuition, joy, play, healing and feel more emotionally connected.
